BAVO is the umbrella organisation supporting and promoting voluntary organisations in Bridgend County Borough, South Wales, UK.
Public Health Wales is an NHS organisation providing professionally independent public health advice and services to protect and improve the health and wellbeing of the population of Wales.
We provide affordable homes to rent and buy across the County Borough of Bridgend in South Wales.
As a not for profit housing association we are also investing heavily in the communities where we work.
Our mission is to provide homes in thriving communities where people feel safe and want to live.
The aims of the Wales Rural Network are to share good practice and promote co-operation between schemes and programmes operating under the Rural Development Plan (RDP).
Key areas of work planned over the course of the RDP period include:-
Establishment and support for thematic groups on key topics within the RDP, incorporating cross-axis working where appropriate
Set up of a website, database and partner search tool to support communications and co-operation within the rural network
Provision of training, mentoring, support and information for Local Action Groups
Support for inter-territorial and trans-national working.
Cadwyn Clwyd Cyfyngedig is a Rural Development Agency, which provides guidance and support to develop and diversity the rural economy in Flintshire and Denbighshire through European Union funds, UK domestic funds and private sector funds.
The Company focuses on actions, which stimulate grass-root participation, partnership working and innovation to support projects for rural communities and sector groups. It works directly with local communities to assist in the development and implementation of projects, which benefit the area’s local economy.
Our activities are part funded through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2008 to 2013 which is financed by the European Union and the Welsh Government, as well as Powys County Council. We are a rural development initiative providing assistance and support to businesses, individuals and community groups in Powys.
The Neath Port Talbot Ramblers group was formed in May 1998. The walks vary each week, from local walks around the Neath area to walks further afield. If you are new to rambling you may want to join one of our shorter walks (we have added more short walks to this years programme).
For the more adventurous, our longer walks are held every week.
Non-members are welcome to join us on two or three walks before deciding whether to join the Ramblers. Please make yourself known to the walk leader (names are given in the programme).
Please ensure that you wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring food and drink. Jeans are not recommended, particularly in damp weather.

Working with communities, we develop innovative projects and ideas that will benefit the long term social and economic wellbeing of the area. We aim to empower individuals to become actively involved in the future of their communities. We may be able to help you, your community group or your business through one of our initiatives.
The Rural Partnership is supported by the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013 which is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

Welcome to adventa, a rural development initiative providing support to Monmouthshire’s rural businesses. adventa is an Axis 4 Local Action Group, a local partnership of public, private and voluntary/community organisations which is overseen by the Monmouthshire adventa+ Partnership, responsible for developing and managing the county’s Rural Development Programme. Its primary focus is to work with local enterprises and businesses to enhance and strengthen the local economy.
The PLANED community-led partnership was established in 2001 and evolved from SPARC (South Pembrokeshire Action for Rural Communities) 1991-2001.
PLANED’s aim is to engage local people in Pembrokeshire in improving their quality of life – culturally, socially, environmentally and economically.
PLANED is a non-profit-making company and a registered charity.
