Garw Environmental Action

Through this project Richard and Wendy at Groundwork Bridgend are engaging with local people in local projects to make physical and creative environmental improvements in their areas. The focus is to make sustainable physical and creative environmental improvements throughout rural Bridgend.

The Garw Environmental Action Project has completed many projects this season and below you will find a snapshot of each one.


Grow Garw - We installed and planted vegetable seeds in raised beds in school grounds in 4 primary schools


Llangeinor Community growing area - Community design, research and planting

St Ceins Community Seating - Community design and ceramic art workshop with local teenagers in Llangeinor
