Join Bridgend Ramblers and Love2walk Bridgend and explore the Bridgend section of the 870 mile long coastal path. Two walks will be setting off from Rest Bay car park at 10am, one for families with a treasure hunt and prizes and (suitable for buggies) and one for more experienced walkers.

Sponsorship / Advertising Opportunities        

We are currently putting together this years Festival Booklet, which will be the ultimate companion for the Love2Walk enthusiast.

We would like to offer organisations the opportunity to partner us in this years festival, helping your organisation to reach new audiences, promoting your brand with a celebrated, popular and growing festival. We have even more on offer this year to include firewalking, horseriding, a world record for the largest Elvis gathering and all the favourites from the previous years festivals. Advertising and sponsorship opportunities range from £75-£1500, so please get in touch if you would like to find out more.

Package A – Walk Sponsor

Become the sole sponsor of one of our walks – and there are 40 of them for you to choose from which might include an Elvis gathering, star gazing or a ghost walk … and plenty more besides! For sponsorship of £250 we would be pleased to offer:

- Your company’s branding in the Festival booklet, linked to your individual walk
- A half page advert in the Festival booklet
- The opportunity for your company to distribute promotional materials at any of our walks
- A public thank you to your company through local media, the website and the festival booklet
- Submission of a press quote from a senior member of your staff for inclusion in press releases
- Mentions and links to your website via our Facebook and Twitter pages

Love 2 Walk Festival 2012
Saturday 29th September – Sunday 7th October
 

Love2Walk is back for its 3rd year this autumn and is set to be bigger and better than ever! Last years festival was hugely popular and this year’s festival will be no exception with 40 walks being planned. There will be a variety of walks to choose from which will give you the opportunity to explore the stunning scenery of the Bridgend Valleys to the blue flag coastline.

However, Love2Walk is no ordinary festival, boasting a succession of quirky walks to choose from such as ghostly encounters, bat detecting and fire walking. Or you could learn about Bridgend’s heritage and history!

Programme Development

The Love2Walk team are hard at work developing the programme and we will be releasing our festival booklet in the next couple of months (May 2012). However, we would like to give you a sneak preview of some of the walks that we are planning – these are provisional but here’s hoping!

• Love2HorseRide, aiming to introduce the horse rider to the wonderful riding country that we have in rural bridgend,
• Walk2Love – a light hearted meeting for those wishing to meet a special someone,
• Firewalking – Take on the challenge of walking across a bed of burning hot coal
