Delivered in partnership with the Awen Cultural Trust, the project will produce a small scale feasibility and research study, combined with a proposed development plan.

The aim of the study is to identify whether it is feasible to market and sell local produce and crafts within the country park/natural environment setting.

The project adopts Bryngarw Country Park as a case study for the research and considers the market place, physical and on-line platforms, product development, outline financial outputs and the integration of local producers over a planned implementation period.

The study will provide the basis to plan for future development, funding and sustainability strategies should the Country Park wish to take it forward or in the event that other natural green space attractions within the County Borough choose to take advantage of any opportunities and/or market research identified.

Project is currently underway and due for completion in April 2017
