The Rural Communities Development Fund
The Rural Community Development Fund (RCDF) is a capital grant programme for community-based organisations to tackle poverty and social exclusion in their area.
Applications for this fund go directly to the Welsh Government, but Reach is here to help make sure that any local projects are in line with local priorities.

This scheme is part of the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. It is administered directly by the Welsh Government.
What is available?
The Rural Community Development Fund is a Capital grant fund for projects up to the total value of £160,000 (80% RDP funded 20% match required).
The objectives of the RCDF are to:
1. Promote social inclusion, poverty reduction and economic development in rural areas.
2. Help those most deprived in rural Wales and those that have limited scope to change their circumstances.
3. Develop the resilience and capability of rural communities so that they are better able to cope with and adapt to change.
